Jack Lee Grosswiler

Grosswiler, Mr. Jack Lee (husband of Kathleen) of London. Mr. Jack Lee Grosswiler, beloved husband of Kathleen "Kathy" (Benham) Grosswiler aged 82, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021, after a long battle with Progressive Supra Nuclear Palsey. He was born on March 28, 1938 in Muskegon, Michigan to Lamoyne E. Grosswiler and Helen (Sweeney) Grosswiler. He attended and graduated from Muskegon High School. While in Muskegon, Jack was very active as a motorcycle enthusiast, owning and operating a motorcycle dealership with BMW, BSA, and Bultaco franchises and specialized in making custom choppers for his customers. He was also an active member of the Muskegon Motorcycle Club and was a participant in several enduro and hill climb races, winning several trophies. He moved from Muskegon with his wife and two small children to work for Micro Devices as a spring maker in 1980. He also graduated from Sue Bennett College with an Associate of Arts degree and has a dealership selling ATV's and scooters in London. He continued with his love of motorcycles, going on several long rides on his Harley with friends, including to Wisconsin for the Harley Davidson's 100th anniversary. After leaving Micro devices, he developed and managed Bluegrass Spring Company. Under Jack and Kathy's leadership, the company grew, employed ten people, and sent custom made springs for major companies all over the world, including springs for the space shuttle. He is survived by seven children: Jennifer Lee Grosswiler, Johnathan Grosswiler and wife Brittany, and Ariel Grosswiler all of London, Kentucky, Deborah Boone, Jacqueline Gonzales and husband Rod, James Grosswiler and wife Constance, and Thomas Grosswiler all of Muskegon, Michigan; five grandchildren, Brandon Grosswiler, Justan Grosswiler of London, Jeffery (Ellen) Boone, Michael Boone, Mathew (Kristen Johnson) Boone, of Muskegon, Michigan; seven great-grandchildren, Taylor Boone, Chloe Boone, Layla Boone, Lennon Boone, Noah Kops, Josselyn Gonzalez, Dylan Hershey, all of Muskegon, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter Amy Grosswiler, three year old son, Jax Grosswiler; granddaughters, Samatha Gonzalez and Dana Gonzalez. There will be no visitation or services for Jack Lee Grosswiler. London Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.Read Obituary
