Jackie Lynn Applegate-Engle

Jackie Lynn Applegate-Engle, age 71, wife of Dennis Engle of Corbin, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at her residence. She was the mother of Brian Engle (Tara) of Hopkinsville, Kentucky and Carrie Nicole Engle of Corbin, Kentucky; the sister of Sherrie L. Gillespie of Shelbyville, Indiana, Steve Applegate (Maxine) of Indianapolis, Indiana, and George Michael Todd of London, Kentucky. She was also blessed with three grandchildren, Kennedy Engle, Maddux Engle, and Harper Engle. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Carol Engle (Faline), Pat Engle, Phyliss Engle, Jan Thomas (Marty), and Lisa Thomas (Mike) all of Corbin, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd R. Applegate and Ruth (Beatty) Todd; by her sister, Margie K. Applegate; by her step-father, George Todd. Funeral services for Jackie Lynn Applegate-Engle will be conducted Monday, March 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Lorie Crawford and Tim Trowbridge officiating. Burial will follow at Chadwell Cemetery in Pigeon Roost, Kentucky. The family of Jackie Lynn Applegate-Engle will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service on Monday, March 14, 2022. Serving as pallbearers will be: Robert Trowbridge, Tim Trowbridge, Noah Robinson, Jacob Robinson, Michael Thomas, and Daniel Barrett. Honorary pallbearer will be Maddux Engle. The family would like to thank the following employees of Bluegrass Care Navigators: Kathy, Debbie, Melinda, Jason, Jonathon, Morgan, Ragina, Kaitlyn, Nessa, and Christy.
