James Robert Gambrel

James Robert Gambrel, age 78, of London, Kentucky passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation in Brodhead, Kentucky. He was the father of James Edward Gambrel, Connie Rosales, Gerald Gambrel, and Cheryl Osborne all of London, Kentucky; the brother of Carolyn Browning of London, Kentucky; and special friend of Evelyn Smith of London, Kentucky. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Brown Gambrel; by his parents, Felix Gambrel and Fannie (Nolan) Gambrel; by his daughter, Reba Stidham; and by his sisters, Charlotte Sue Mullins and Jean Gambrel, by his nephews Dwight Madden and Roger Madden. He was a mechanic and member of Freedom United Baptist Church. Funeral Services for James Robert Gambrel will be conducted Monday, December 31, 2018 at 1:00 PM in London Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Larry Paul Roark officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky.
