James E. Lisby, Jr., age 72, husband of Etta (Hoskins) Lisby of London, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. He was the father of Todd Lisby of Hebron, Kentucky, and Shannon Arvin of Crestwood, Kentucky; the step father of Charlsie Banks of Cincinnati, Ohio, Wanda Montgomery and Bobbie Jo Hensley both of Manchester, Kentucky; the nephew of Betty Lisby Husband of Louisville, Kentucky. He was also blessed with twelve grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, James Lisby; by his parents, James Elmo Lisby and Lucille (Sea) Lisby; by one sister, Pat Coomer. Funeral services for James E. Lisby, Jr., will be conducted Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Hoskins officiating. Burial will follow at Williams and Edmonson Cemetery, Sexton’s Creek, Kentucky with DAV Chapter 158, Keavy, in charge of military honors. The family of James E. My mother, Minnie, was Jim's aunt. Jim's mother was my second mom when I was young. Jim, Pat, Aunt Lucy and Uncle Elmo are forever a loving memory for the rest of my life. Jim's smile, his GTO, our hunting experiences, and time spent with him we're very impressionable in my life. My deep felt condolences to Jim's family. Steve Baugh
