James Arnold Lockaby

Arnold Lockaby, age 72, husband of Barbara (Robinson) Lockaby of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the father of Donna Binder and Rhonda Welch and husband Larry all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; the grandfather of John David Welch, Courtney Hammons, Emily Wyan, Aaron Cunagin, and Travis Burns; the great grandfather of Everly Wyan, Lincoln Wyan, Kylee Wyan, and Jacey Wyan. He was a Teacher with the Laurel County Board of Education, a member of Philpot Chapel Baptist Church, and member of Mckee Lodge #144 F&AM. Funeral services for Arnold Lockaby will be conducted Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 2:00 PM in London Funeral Home Chapel with James Allen and John David Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Casteel Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. The family of Arnold Lockaby will receive friends at London Funeral Home on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 12:00 Noon until the service hour. Pallbearers will be Jack Fields, Eddie Blevins, Jerry Gay, Dusty Carloftis, Chester Couch, and Fred Cornett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Moore, Bradley Green, Ray Burkhart, Emory McNew, Greg Smith, and Taylor Miller.
