James A. McGee

James A. McGee, age 89, husband of Mary Chesnut McGee of London, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. He was the father of Marcia Lynne Bill and husband Jake of London, Kentucky and Michael McGee of Connecticut, the brother of Ruth House of London, Kentucky. He is also survived by two grandchildren; Wesley Jacob Bill and Laura Lee Bill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sanford McGee and Vera House McGee, and by two siblings, Linda Cornelius and Lois Cunagin. He was a retired truck driver, a United States Army Veteran, and a member of East Pittsburg Baptist Church. Funeral Services for James A. McGee will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, February 17, 2018 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Denny McCowan and Dr. Andrew Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park with DAV Chapter 158, Keavy, in charge of military honors. The family of James A. McGee will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 11:00 AM Saturday, February 17, 2018 until the funeral hour.
