He was the father of Lesia Lynn Sawyers and husband Elmer of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, David Wayne Mounce and wife Lora of Barbourville, Kentucky and Jeff Mounce and wife Bridget of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; the brother of Doug Mounce and wife Rita, Larry Mounce and wife Karen, Steve Mounce and wife JoAnn and Mark Mounce all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. He was also blessed with seven grandchildren. He is also survived by a special cousin, Wayne Mounce and wife Gladys of Livingston, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Monroe Mounce and Charlene (Robinson) Mounce; by his brother, Billy Wayne Mounce. He was a member of Arthur Ridge Holiness Church of East Bernstadt, Kentucky.Funeral services for James Lee Mounce will be conducted Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Claude Gilbert and David Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Andes Cemetery. The family of James Lee Mounce will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Sunday.Serving as pallbearers will be: Austin Sawyers, Jacob Sawyers, Andrew Mounce, Hayden Mounce, Colton Mounce, Claude Gilbert, III, Denver Gilbert, and Marshall Mounce. Honorary pallbearers will be Abigail Mounce and Adalyn Mounce.All families respectfully request that all visitors wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing recommendations.Read Obituary
