James Robert “Jimmy” Oliver Jr., age 61, husband of Debbie (Owens) Oliver of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away Sunday December 9, 2018 at his residence. He was the father of James Robert “Robbie” Oliver III and wife Courtney and Justin Oliver and wife Jamie all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; the son of Dorothy (King) Oliver of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; the brother of Regina Armstrong and husband Rodney of London, Kentucky, Cathy Sowder, David Oliver and wife Henrietta all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; the grandfather of Jenna Oliver, Wesley Oliver, Maggie Oliver, and Tyler Oliver. He was preceded in death by his father, James Robert Oliver Sr. Funeral services for James Robert “Jimmy” Oliver Jr. will be conducted Wednesday December 12, 2018 at 12:00 Noon in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Elmore, Rick Brammer, and Lonnie Marcum officiating. Burial will follow at New Salem Cemetery in Pittsburg, Kentucky. The family of James Robert “Jimmy” Oliver Jr. will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 5:00 PM on Tuesday December 11, 2018. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to "Fish'n For Missions" 1835 North Laurel Road, London, Kentucky 40741. Pallbearers will be David Martin, Robert Prince, Gary Long, Matthew Armstrong, Jesse Armstrong, Brian Oliver, Chris Owens, and Steve Owens. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ron Miller, Jim Sensabaugh, Curt Hopkins, Mike Price, Mike Collier, Rick Evans, Bobby Oliver, Dexter Mason, Johnny Wagers, Ova Baker, Willis Durham, Norman Owens, Dale Gray, and Charles Sowder.Read Obituary
