James Tilman Thompson

James Tilman Thompson, age 78, of London, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at VA Health Care System in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the father of Nevelyn Powers and husband Matt of London, Kentucky; the brother of Elizabeth Hacker and Mary Lou Johnson both of London, Kentucky and Sally Mae Denny of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was also blessed with three grandchildren, Sara Bays, Baylor Powers, and Caleb Benge all of London, Kentucky; and one great-grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Emma Thompson; by his siblings, W.F. Thompson (infant), Howard Thompson, Enoch Thompson, Virgil Gene Thompson, Stela Rose Sergent, and Mineervia Bowls.The family will be holding a public Celebration for James Tilman Thompson on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at his residence; 246 Langnau Road, London, Kentucky 40741.
