Jean Black

Jean Black, age 91, of London, Kentucky passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. She was the mother of Bill Black and wife Laurel of Indiana, Pennsylvania, Joseph Wayne Black of London, Kentucky, and Eddie Black and wife Patty of Hodgenville, Kentucky. She was also blessed with nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and six step grandchildren. She is also survived by two nieces, Donna Eldridge and DeLynn Harris both of London, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Clifton Nelson Black; by one grandson, Russell Black; by her parents, John and Cordelia (Mardis) Farris; and by her siblings, Nancy Harris, Katherine Trimble, and Joe Farris. She was a Member of Wesley Meadows Methodist Church in Hodgenville, Kentucky. Funeral services for Jean Black will be conducted Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Black officiating. Burial will follow at Nelson Family Cemetery. The family of Jean Black will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.Read Obituary
