Jewell Dean Harris

Jewell Dean (Evans) Harris, age 86, of McKee, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at her residence. She was the mother of Rita Gail Bailey of McKee, Kentucky, Ida Barrett of London, Kentucky, and Mike Harris of Annville, Kentucky; the sister of Dorothy Belt of Pittsburg, Kentucky. She was also blessed with twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Harris; by her children, Anita Barrett, Conrad Harris, and Olan Harris; by her parents, Charlie and Martha (Clarkston) Evans; and by her siblings, Lula Philpot, Celia Johnson, James Evans, Maynard Evans, and Frankie Evans. Funeral services for Jewell Dean (Evans) Harris will be conducted Monday, March 4, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Don Farmer and Keith Carr officiating. Burial will follow at Cunagin-Harris Cemetery - Letterbox, Kentucky. The family of Jewell Dean (Evans) Harris will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 1:30 p.m. until the service hour on Monday, March 4, 2019. Serving as pallbearers are: William Bailey, Jr., Jeffery Bailey, Kevin Harris, John Harris, James Harris, Jeremy McQueen, Jordan McQueen, and Steven Harris.Read Obituary
