Jimmy Dean Sweet, age 70, of London, Kentucky went to his heavenly home on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. Jimmy is survived by his wife, Cathy (Smith) Sweet, his two daughters Erin (Sweet) Vaughn and husband Albert Vaughn II, Jennifer (Sweet) Goss and husband David Goss. His grandchildren Hannah and Christian Vaughn, Brandon Broughton, Emily Goss Miller, and one great granddaughter Mia Miller. He was preceded in death by his son Shawn Allen Sweet, his sister Cathy Sweet Newman, and brother Michael Wayne Sweet. Jimmy was born to the late Charles Sweet Jr, and Ina (Parsons) Sweet. He was married to his best friend Cathy on May 21, 1970 this year they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Jimmy was devoted to his family and loved the Lord with all his heart and couldn't wait to be reunited with his precious son in heaven. He was a loving husband, father, and papaw. He will forever be missed on earth but we have great peace knowing he's in the arms of his heavenly father with no more sickness and no more pain. Until we meet again. All services for Jimmy Dean Sweet will be private. London Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.Read Obituary

I have sych good memories of Jimmy , He visited us and played guitar , and hd me sing with him , I remember his favorite son was , I think , Onl111 roses , he had me tenor and sing it with him , But there was another I dont remember the name of it but when I do I will sing it for u Jimmy , I 'm sorry I cant personally say my good byes but due to thisn terrible Virus that took u from us So I'll just say goodbuy fried , WE WILL SEE U LATER , bET ur singing in the Angel Choirand Dancing in the sky as the song goes , if u were her we would sing that song .Good bye friend .

I will never forget Jimmy Sweet!! He was my favorite person besides my Daddy at O.P. Link Handle Company. I saw him and his wife a few times in the past few years and they were so sweet to me!! I will never forget Jimmy Sweet.
