Judith Smith

Judith (McCowan) Smith, age 57,wife of Danny Smith of London, Kentucky passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was the mother of Monica Smith and fiancé Fred Rigney, and Kevin Smith all of London, Kentucky, the daughter of Marjorie (Twyman) McCowan of Somerset, Kentucky, the sister of James McCowan of Lexington, Kentucky, and Steve McCowan and wife Traci of Somerset, Kentucky. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Sierra Rigney, Madison Rigney, Emma Smith and Kelen Smith. She was preceded in death by her father, James Wallace McCowan. She formerly worked in electronics at Walmart and was a member of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church. Graveside Services and burial for Judith (McCowan) Smith will be conducted 12:00 Noon Friday, May 25, 2018 at Mount Zion Cemetery with Norm Brock officiating. There will be no visitation. London Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to London Funeral Home toward funeral expense.Read Obituary
