Judy Hammons

Judy Hammons, 73, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Monday, February 5th, 2018, in London, Kentucky. On May 4th, 1968 she married Gilbert Hammons in Jellico, Tennessee. Judy enjoyed attending church, spending time with her family and friends, fishing and riding on the four wheeler. She was a member of Mount Ararat Baptist Church in Barbourville, Kentucky. She is survived by her husband, Gilbert Hammons; her mother, Nora Nelson; one brother, Luke Neal; three children, Arch Gibbs, Elaine Alleshouse, Tammy Baker; son-in-law, David Baker, all of London, Kentucky. Five grandchildren, Jody Alleshouse, Jamie Alleshouse, Tabitha House, Dylan Baker and Kamryn Baker. Six great grandchildren, Madison Deaton, Evan Alleshouse, Dalton Baker, Kyndal Alleshouse, Hiltyn House and Hendrix House; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Burton Neal; one brother, David Neal; two sisters, Norma Madden and Frances Branstetter. A time of gathering will be held on Wednesday, February 7th from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at London Funeral Home in London, Kentucky.
