Katherine Williams Sasser

Katherine (Williams) Sasser, age 94 of London, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. She was the mother of Sharon McNeeley of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Dell Sasser of Slade, Kentucky, the sister of Hassell Williams of London, Kentucky. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Rick Sasser, by her husband, Lynn Nantz Sasser, by her parents, Elijah Nathan Williams and Lina (Tipton) Williams, and by her siblings; Roy Williams, Ray Williams, Leslie Williams, Victor Williams, Luther Williams, Hazel Brewer, Minnie V. Chestnut, and Birdie Wilson. She was a retired florist and a member of Slate Hill Baptist Church. Funeral Services for Katherine (Williams) Sasser will be conducted 1:00 PM Monday, May 15, 2017 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Tommy Floyd officiating. Burial will follow at Slate Hill Cemetery. The family of Katherine (Williams) Sasser will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 11:00 AM Monday, May 15, 2017 until the funeral hour.
