Kevin Ray Hopkins, age 41, of Lily, Kentucky passed away Thursday October 4, 2018 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the fiancé of Brenda Edwards of Barbourville, Kentucky; the father of Mackenzie Hopkins of Lily, Kentucky and Tyler Hopkins of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; the son of Clyde Hopkins of Lily, Kentucky and step son of Roberta Hopkins of Lily, Kentucky; the brother of Mike Hopkins of London, Kentucky; the step brother of Robert Farmer, Mike Farmer, and Tommy Farmer all of London, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his mother, Priscilla (Mullins) Hopkins. Funeral services for Kevin Ray Hopkins will be conducted Thursday October 11, 2018 at 1:00 PM in London Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Proffitt officiating. Burial will follow at Lynn Camp Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky. The family of Kevin Ray Hopkins will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Wednesday October 10, 2018. Pallbearers will be Thomas Scalf, Dion Mayne, Adam Edwards, David McCreary, Shannon Cheek, Travis Deaton, Austin Hopkins, and Tyler Hopkins. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to London Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.Read Obituary

Mackenzie & Tyler, I'm so sorry, Mackenzie I know you was daddy's girl, he was always a hero to you and Tyler, he became a hero to alot of us, he put his life in God's hands and allowed the Lord to take control. He had no fear, for he knew where he was going. Fly high bubby, and we will see you again.
