Lela Sue Moore

Lela Sue Moore, age 73, wife of Lovesta Moore of London, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at her residence. She was the mother of Michelle Buttery and Kristie Peters both of London, Kentucky, and Lisa Buttery of Manchester, Kentucky; the sister of Virginia Harris of London, Kentucky. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Hubbard, Travis Dixon, Brandon Dixon, Joshua Moore, Ashley Hubbard, Amanda Bowling, and Jeffery Peters; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her great-grandchild, Carson Burke; by her parents, John D. Proffitt and Opal (Johnson) Fowler; by her sister, Joyce Ann Miller.Funeral services for Lela Sue Moore will be conducted Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Jones and Danny Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ Cemetery. The family of Lela Sue Moore will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until the time of service on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.Serving as pallbearers will be: Josh Moore, Virgil Buttery, Jerry Scott, Jeffery Peters, Dan Hubbard, and Austin Bowling.Read Obituary
