Leonard B. Smith

Leonard B. Smith, age 70, of Corbin, Kentucky passed away Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. He was the father of Sandy Ann Kemp and husband Troy of London, Kentucky, Sheila Michelle Hall and husband Elbert of Gooserock, Kentucky, and Tanya Lynn Prater and husband Tim of Mayfield, Kentucky; the brother of Gary Smith of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Kenneth Smith and Rosie Williams both of Gooserock, Kentucky, Cecil Smith and Mary Lou Williams both of Manchester, Kentucky. He was also blessed with six grandchildren, Aalayah Spencer, TraSean Spencer, Leonard Hall, Baxter Hall, Shannon Roberts, and Jacob Roberts; and by a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy B. and Haley (Broughton) Smith; by two grandsons, Austin Smith, Elbert Wayne Hall, Jr.; by his siblings, Andy Smith, Mark Smith, Mae Kirk, Maryetta Namauum Alice Williams, Clary Faye Smith, Elvie Williams, Betty Lou Henson, Dorothy Smith, and Lulie Smith. Funeral services for Leonard B. Smith will be conducted Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Andrew Hamblin, Todd Hignite, Paul Mitchell, Jr., and George Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Leonard B. Smith Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family of Leonard B. Smith will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
