LeRoy George

LeRoy George, age 80, husband of Claudette (Evans) George of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away Saturday July 15, 2017 at his residence. He was the father of Rory Lee George of Smithville, Tennessee also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, William Craig George; by his parents, Ida (Combs) George and John Roy George; and by his siblings Ruby Patton, Eulene Watkins, Evelyn Blankenship, Alpha Vittitoe, Erma Lee Swank, William Howard George, and James E. George. Funeral Services for LeRoy George will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday July 18, 2017 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Delmar Gross and Jeff Lewis officiating. Entombment will follow at Landrum Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. The family of LeRoy George will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 PM on Monday July 17, 2017. Pallbearers will be Henry Woodyard, Charlie Blankenship, Trevor George, Dusty York, David Floyd, Lowell Floyd, Joey Patton, Henry Clay Brock and Honorary Pallbearer Larry Cottongim.Read Obituary
