I was raised in the Swiss Colony & attended Swiss Colony Elementary with Linda. She was always the same person wherever you saw her. Friendly, kind, considerate & loving. Linda always had a smile & never forgot you. She will be missed by family & friends. Heaven has gained another angel. Loved her dearly.

Mrs. Jones was my 1st grade school teacher who I never, ever forgot the way she loved her students. She and I just talked a few weeks ago on Messenger and she had told me that my cousin Chuckie Wiles and I were 2 students that she never forgot either. She said she had taught many, many students but us 2 really stuck in her memory. She said if people didn't know they would have thought he and I were actually twins. My heart is broke with the news of her passing.

Linda was a beautiful person & out. My children went to Sublimity Elementary School where Linda taught. I got to see her often. She taught my son Chris Anderson in second grade.
She told me many years later that Chris told her one day. Mrs. Jones I am going to get my mommy to get you a new pair of shoes for Christmas. She said, mine were probably worn out & he had noticed them. I loved the story. Chris told me she had spanked him, it hurt me worse than him as I thought my children did no wrong. Linda & I years later had a laugh about it. She couldn’t remember why he got in trouble. She loved her home, cooking. Gardening ‘& canned & frozen the things she grew. She loved to decorate her home. I loved her 2 girls & her husband, Lowell & I always talked when we would meet. The sad thing for me, I didn’t know she was sick. I could have cooked & visited ‘ helped her if I had only known. RIP Linda, you will be missed. I Love You
