Lizzie Burns

Lizzie Burns, age 79 of London, Kentucky passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at Baptist Health Corbin. She was the mother of Charlotte Jones and husband Darrell, and Darrell Burns and wife Michelle all of London, Kentucky, the sister of; Pearl Spencer, Gracie Hampton, Ilene Morgan, and Robert Allen, Jr. all of Eubank, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Burns, by one son, Jerry Burns, by her parents, Robert Allen and Annie (Burkhart) Allen, and by eight siblings; Ruby Proffitt, Anna Mae Barber, Gladys Wesley, Gib Allen, Marion Allen, Bert Allen, Clarence Allen, and Les Allen. Funeral Services for Lizzie Burns will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, June 14, 2018 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Hodge and Jeff Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. The family of Lizzie Burns will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon Thursday, June 14, 2108 until the funeral hour.
