Lonnie Proffitt, age 71, husband of Pat (Smith) Proffitt of Burnside, Kentucky passed away Tuesday November 6, 2018 at his residence. He was the son of Goldie (Overbay) Proffitt of London, Kentucky and the brother of Wayne Proffitt and wife Wanda Sue, Denny Proffitt and wife Sue, and Tim Proffitt and wife Sheila all of London, Kentucky. He was also survived by his fishing buddies; Bruce Rose, Richard Thompson, and Terry Vanover all of Burnside, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Proffitt. Funeral Services for Lonnie Proffitt will be conducted Friday November 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM in London Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Shell officiating. Burial will follow at Norvell Cemetery. The family of Lonnie Proffitt will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 PM on Thursday November 8, 2018. Pallbearers will be Bruce Rose, Richard Thompson, Eddie Proffitt, Thomas Proffitt, Regina Tolson, and Noah Hoskins.Read Obituary
