Lorene Rose

Lorene (Taylor) Rose, age 84 of London, Kentucky passed away Monday, June 04, 2018 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. She was the mother of Judy Hampton and husband Raymond of Corbin, Kentucky, Darrell Rose (Jackie Cox) of London, Kentucky, Mark Rose and wife Chastina of Tazewell, Tennessee, the sister of Ernest Taylor of London, Kentucky, Betty Dykes of Somerset, Kentucky, Ruby Sparks of Columbus, Ohio, and Edith Nolan of Richmond, Kentucky. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Melina Rushing, Melony Phelps, Amada Moore, Glenn Hampton, Michael Hampton, Jennifer Hampton, Jordan Rose, Geneva Rose, and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Thurman Rose, by her parents, Travis Taylor and Bertha (Anders) Taylor, and by three brothers and six sisters. She was employed by London Laundry for twenty years and was a member of Level Green Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral Services for Lorene (Taylor) Rose will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, June 08, 2018 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Raymond Hampton, Michael Hampton, and Glenn Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at Poynters Chapel Cemetery. The family of Lorene (Taylor) Rose will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:30 PM Thursday, June 07, 2018. Serving as pallbearers; Glenn Hampton, Michael Hampton, Dewayne Moore, Justin Rose, Mark Rose, Dylan Moore, Glendon Hampton, and Noah Hampton.
