Louella Ramsey

Louella Johnson Ramsey, age 85, wife of Howard Ramsey of London, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. She was the mother of Kenneth Chadwell, Charles Chadwell, Jr., and Mary Chadwell all of London, Kentucky; the sister of Rose Mary Stoker of Georgia; the stepmother of Marketa Ramsey, Tonya Ramsey, Joe Ramsey, and Rodney Ramsey all of Jonesboro, Tennessee, and Deitra Ramsey of Kansas. She was also blessed with nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Roger Dale Chadwell; by her parents, Alex Gregory and Edna Johnson; by her uncle and aunt that raised her, Uncle Fount and Aunt Sally Watkins; and by her siblings, Opal Gregory, Tommy Gregory, and Doris Gregory. Funeral services for Louella Johnson Ramsey will be conducted Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Merle Owens and Delmer Gross officiating. Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family of Louella Johnson Ramsey will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019. Serving as pallbearers are: Butch Chadwell, Robert Chadwell, Ronnie Chadwell, Dalton Chadwell, Kenneth Chadwell, Jr., Gavin Hall, Jacob Hall, Blake Maxey, Bryer Chadwell, Kody Chadwell, Nathan Chadwell, Dillon Hammons, Austin Ratliff, and Chuck Chadwell.Read Obituary
