Mamie Marie Vickers

Mamie Marie Vickers, age 89, of Richmond, Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at her residence. She was the mother of Evelyn Wardrup, Mary Belcher, and Floyd Vickers all of London, Kentucky, Connie McLemore of Savannah, Georgia, James Vickers of Winchester, Kentucky, Gary Vickers of Pontiac, Michigan, Addie Vickers and Dora Smith both of Richmond, Kentucky; the sister of Ethel Powers of Helmet, California, Flossie Hicks of Indiana, Christine Hurst and Charles McDaniel both of London, Kentucky. She is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren; and by her adopted daughter, Barbara Warthen of Richmond, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Oscar Vickers; by two sons, John Charles Vickers and Billy Ray Vickers; by two grandsons, Jonathan Vickers and Patrick Smith; by her parents, Charlie and Mary Jane (Patterson) McDaniel. Funeral services for Mamie Marie Vickers will be conducted Friday, March 15, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Paul Roark officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. The family of Mamie Marie Vickers will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019.
