Mark Williams

Mark Williams, age 66, husband of Joette (Blunschi) Williams of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away Monday, March 22, 2021. He was the father of Mark Wesley Williams of London, Kentucky; the son of Ruth (Robinson) Williams of Somerset, Kentucky; the brother of Roger Williams of Somerset, Kentucky and Mary Elizabeth Greene of Midway, Kentucky. He was also blessed with two grandchildren, Kenley Harlow Williams and Bram Wesley Williams. He is also survived by his goddaughter, Mariah (House) Lange of Louisville, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther B. Williams; by his brother, Mike Williams. He was a member of St. William/St. Sylvester Catholic Church, a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, a veteran of the United States Air Force, graduate of LSU School of Banking, and former Senior Vice President of First National Bank of London, Kentucky.Mass of Christian Burial for Mark Williams will be conducted Friday, March 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at St. William Catholic Church, 521 West 5th Street, London, Kentucky with Father Vitner Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at St. Sylvester Cemetery with DAV Chapter 158 Keavy in charge of military honors. The family of Mark Williams will receive friends at St. William Catholic Church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Sylvester Oratory, 1100 Saint Sylvester Way, East Bernstadt, Kentucky, 40729. Serving as pallbearers will be: Chris Phipps, Mark Phillips, Jeff Blunschi, J.C. Blunschi, Ted Williams, and Bill Chaney.
