I remember well when I came to Beech Creek UMC in Sept 1977 to work with and learn from Don Penner. Don and Dorothy took me in, and I also acquired 3 sisters ! Marlene, in particular, looked at me as her long-lost Brother, insomuch that she has referred to me as her “little brother” to this day. That thot still makes me smile.
Aunt Marlene was more like a mom to me than a Aunt. She will be missed so much. We sure had some good times together going to Drs Appointments and to store. I love her so much. My thoughts and prayers are with you all... Love you all. Pam
Marlene sure loved her family. She was proud of her children & grandchildren, when she spoke of them her face would light up the room. I will surely miss her. Love & prayers to all the family....Lisa Hyden
