Maudie Lee (Shell) Clark, age 89, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was the mother Janie Ison and husband Bob, Lucille Vernon and husband Harold, Carol Sue Rhodes and husband Don, Robert Lee Clark, Tracy Matthews and husband Josh, and Joseph Clark all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, Judie Ann Cornett and husband Ken of Linefork, Kentucky, Rebecca Ann Lewis and husband Mike, Linda Ann Taylor and husband Bill all of Benham, Kentucky, Martin Troy Clark, Jr. and wife Darlene of Smilax, Kentucky, Johnny Clark and wife Teresa of West Union, Ohio, and Nancy Ison and husband Donnie of Martinsville, Indiana. She was also blessed with twenty-seven grandchildren, forty-five great grandchildren, and eleven great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her Beloved Dog, Sugar. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Clark; by one son, Arnold Clark; by one granddaughter, Heather Nicole Sturgill; by her parents, Napoleon and Nellie Beatrice (Harris) Shell; by one sister, Jacqueline Sargent. Funeral services for Maudie Lee (Shell) Clark will be conducted Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charlie Helton officiating. Burial will follow at Clark Family Cemetery, East Bernstadt, Kentucky. The family of Maudie Lee (Shell) Clark will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2017.
