Merl Thompson

Merl Thompson, age 77, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. He was the father of Brian Thompson and wife Kim of East Bernstadt, Kentucky and Charlie Jason Thompson and wife Susan of London, Kentucky; the brother of Harvey Thompson, Harold Wayne Thompson and wife Sharon, and Pauletta Bowling all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; the brother-in-law of Janie Thompson of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. He was also blessed with four grandchildren, Kelly Thompson and fiancé Matt Butler of Richmond, Kentucky, and Ethan Thompson, Emilee Thompson, and Evann Thompson all of London, Kentucky. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mable (Smith) Thompson; by his siblings, Jimmy Thompson, Milton Thompson, and Charlie Thompson, Jr.; by his brother-in-law, Lowell Bowling; by the mother of his children, Linda (Croucher) Thompson.Funeral services for Merl Thompson will be conducted Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Morris Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Litton Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. The family of Merl Thompson will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until the time of service on Saturday, February 26, 2022.Read Obituary
