Peggy Jean Pennington

Peggy Jean (Greer) Pennington, age 82, of London, Kentucky passed away Tuesday October 2, 2018 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. She was the mother of Darrel Pennington and wife Gladys of Lily, Kentucky and DeAnna Pennington Simpson and husband Tom of Hanover, Pennsylvania; the sister of Billy D. Greer and wife Myrtle, Paul Junior Greer and wife Joann, and Connie L. Greer Patton and husband Elbert all of London, Kentucky, and Sandy Greer Pritchett and husband Brian of Corydon, Kentucky; the grandmother of Amber Mitchell, Lindsay Mitchell, and Kristina McClure all of Hanover, Pennsylvania, Sean Pennington of Louisville, Kentucky, and Wanda Smith of Lily, Kentucky. She was also blessed with several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Pennington; by her parents, Eugene Greer and Verdie (Hacker) Greer; and by her brother, Gerald Greer. Funeral Services for Peggy Jean (Greer) Pennington will be conducted Thursday October 4, 2018 at 3:00 PM in London Funeral Home Chapel with Derek Baker and Harold Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Wiggington Cemetery. The family of Peggy Jean (Greer) Pennington will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon until the service hour on Thursday October 4, 2018.Read Obituary
