Ray Lipps

Dr. Ray Lipps, of Knoxville, Tennessee, flew away on his last adventure to be with God and sing with the angels on Sunday, July 15, 2018. He was bigger than life, loved everyone and enjoyed life to the fullest. Ray will be missed by his loving wife Patricia Skeen Artman Lipps; Ray’s step-daughter, Denise (Mart) Sesler; grandchildren, Cole Sesler and Jordan (Drew) Brown; twin brother, Ralph Lipps (Elaine) of London, Kentucky and brother, Abner (Connie) Lipps of Frankfort, Kentucky; Pat’s two children and nine grandchildren and a multitude of friends and relatives. The family will welcome friends on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Powell Presbyterian Church, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the memorial service following at 4:30 p.m. A celebration of Ray’s life will be held after the service to tell “Ray” stories. The graveside service will be held at Lickliter Cemetery, 1899 Laurel River Road, London, Kentucky, on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. with Dave Bergman officiating.
