Raymond Bertie Burkhart

Bertie Burkhart, age 80, husband of Fannie (Lawson) Burkhart of Lily, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. He was the father of Raymond Douglas Burkhart, Michael D. Burkhart, Kenneth Lynn Burkhart, Jeffery Lynn Grubb, and George Grubb all of London, Kentucky, Timothy Burkhart of Alabama, Katrina Burkhart Yaden of Corbin, Kentucky, Maxine Fragosa of Manchester, Kentucky, and Jeanelle Gibbs of Barbourville, Kentucky; the brother of Reva Boian and Barbara Jean Miller both of Florida. He was also blessed with nineteen grandchildren and by several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jeanette Smith; by his parents, Bertie and Mary Elsie (Burdine) Burkhart; and by his siblings, Patricia Lynn Burkhart and Evelyn Johnson.Funeral services for Bertie Burkhart will be conducted Friday, January 28, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at East London Holiness Church, 838 Smith Brewer Road, London, Kentucky with Jerry Holland and Jerry McKinley Holland officiating. Burial will follow at East London Memorial Gardens.
