Raymond Lindsey Mardis

Raymond Lindsey Mardis, age 80, husband of Lillian Faye (Hibbitts) Mardis of London, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 21, 2021 at Advent Health in Manchester, Kentucky. He was the father of Raymond Keith Mardis and Kevin Lindsey Mardis both of London, Kentucky; the brother of Ernest Mardis of Fairfield, Ohio and Margaret Faulkner of Lafollette, Tennessee. He was also blessed with three grandchildren, Chloe Mardis, Cade Mardis, and Tyler Mardis. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Franklin Mardis and Vera Jaquetta (House) Mardis. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was also a member of the First Baptist of London, Kentucky and was a Mason and Shriner.Funeral services for Raymond Lindsey Mardis will be conducted Monday, May 24, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Gibbs officiating. Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park with DAV Chapter 158 Keavy in charge of military honors. The family of Raymond Lindsey Mardis will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service on Monday.Serving as pallbearers will be: Shane Hibbitts, Shawn Hibbitts, Jeff Hibbitts, David Newburt, Benjamin Hibbitts, and Logan Miller.
