Rick Getz

Rick Getz, age 69, husband of Geraldine (Birchfield) Getz of London, Kentucky passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the father of Brigette Michelle Getz, Brittany Camille Getz, and Richard Brian Getz all of London, Kentucky; the brother of Bill Getz and wife Judy of London, Kentucky, Mary Jean Cribbs and husband Bill of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Linda Brewer and husband Bill of Lexington, Kentucky, and Cathy Carlson of Louisville, Kentucky. He was also blessed with five grandchildren, Olivia Taylor Paige Bailey, Zacherie James Auston Bailey, Cameron Cooper Brian Getz, Briley David Lee Fiechter, and Brantley Ryan Getz; and one great-grandchild, Ryder Jay Oliver Riley. He is also survived by a host of family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, William George Getz and Mary Agnes (Ruesch) Getz.Funeral services and burial for Rick Getz will be private to the family. London Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Serving as pallbearers will be: Brian Getz, Zach Bailey, Cooper Getz, Briley Fiechter, Jeremy Fiechter, and George Jake.Read Obituary
