Rita Alice Swanner

Rita Alice (Fields) Swanner, age 90, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation in Somerset, Kentucky. She was the mother of Tracy Shaw and husband Ron of Somerset, Kentucky; the sister of Charles Fields of Richmond, Indiana, Carl Fields and Ralph Fields both of London, Kentucky, Joyce Gilkey of Harlingen, Texas, and Randle Fields of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; the mother-in-law of Kay Swanner of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. She was also blessed with seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Benjamin Swanner; by her son, Tony Swanner; by her parents, James Doyle and Lillie (Mize) Fields; and by her siblings, James Fields, Donald Fields, Alfred Fields, and Terry Fields. All services will be private. Serving as pallbearers will be family. London Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.Read Obituary
