Robert Jackson "Bobby" Hinkle

Robert Jackson “Bobby” Hinkle, age 77, of London, Kentucky passed away Friday, August 17, 2018 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Corbin, Kentucky. He was the father of Christopher Lee Hinkle of London, Kentucky, and Robin Danielle Isaacs of Plano, Texas; the brother of Ruth Garland and husband Charles, Paul Hinkle and wife Jean all of London, Kentucky, and Roger Hinkle and wife Jana of Manchester, Kentucky; the Godfather of Amy Mooney of Saranac Lake, New York. He was also blessed with four grandchildren, Tristan Fowler, Tanner Fowler, Christopher Hinkle, and Abigail Isaacs. He was a Coal Miner and a Veteran of the United States Air Force where he served in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.R. Hinkle and Beatrice (Hall) Hinkle; by two brothers, Carl Hinkle and Johnny Hinkle. Funeral services for Robert Jackson “Bobby” Hinkle will be conducted Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Devin Garland and Gary Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Hinkle Cemetery with DAV Chapter 158 Keavy in charge of military honors.
