Ronnie Lee Bruner

Ronnie Lee Bruner, age 82, of London, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 at The Select Specialty Hospital in Danville, Kentucky. Ronnie was born to James and Amanda Bruner of London, Kentucky on May 13, 1940. He is survived by 2 sisters, Naomi Swafford of London, Kentucky, Sharon Gabbard and Husband Terry, also of London, Kentucky. Ronnie is also survived by his children, Tammy Tindell, Sandy Harris, Ronnie Lane Bruner and wife Jackie, Craig Bruner, Debbie Smith and husband Mike, Mildred McCoy and husband Tom, all of London, Kentucky. Scott Bruner and wife Susan, of Birmingham, Alabama. His grandchildren: Dr. Michelle Smith of Columbus, Ohio, John Bruner, Jack Bruner, Larry Walls, Brice Hicks, Braxton Lee Hicks all of London, Kentucky. Sarah Whitney, Allison Bruner, William Bruner, Joshua Bruner, all of Birmingham, Alabama. He also has 7 great grandchildren and one on the way. Ronnie leaves behind a special cousin and friend, Rance Bruner and a host of friends and relatives who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Amanda Bruner, one sister, Greta Gilbert and Two brother-in-law Jennings Gilbert, and Carl Swafford. One daughter, Brenda Sue Gabbard, Also In Addition he was preceded in death by, Trula Bruner. Ronnie was a long time member of Freedom United Baptist Church. He also enjoyed his time with his family. He especially loved spending time with his sons and grandsons, watching UK basketball. He truly will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services for Ronnie Bruner will be conducted Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 3:00pm at London Funeral Home. Family will receive friends starting at 1:00pm until the time of service. Burial will follow at Freedom United Baptist Cemetery in the Bush community. Services will be conducted by Pastor Adam Hooker and Pastor Terry Gabbard. Pallbearers; Jimmy Joe Swafford, Keith Gilbert, Travis Gabbard, John Bruner, Jack Bruner, Rance Bruner.
