Ruby Jean Parsley

Ruby Jean (Elkins) Parsley, age 81, of London, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 17, 2020 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. She was the mother of Debra George and husband Rick, Eddie Parsley, and Jerry Parsley all of London, Kentucky, and Betty McKnight and husband Michael of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; the sister of Clara Sasser of London, Kentucky. She was also blessed with ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by two children, Sharon Kay Parsley and Teddy Lee Parsley; by her parents, Jack and Lydia (McKnight) Elkins; by her siblings, Worley Elkins and Elvin Elkins. She was a member of Freedom United Baptist Church of London, Kentucky. Funeral services for Ruby Jean (Elkins) Parsley will be conducted Friday, February 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Merle Owens and Pastor Adam Hooker officiating. Burial will follow at McKnight Cemetery. The family of Ruby Jean (Elkins) Parsley will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2020.
