Sarah Helen Dees

Sarah Helen Dees, age 77, of London, Kentucky passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at her residence. She was the mother of Harold Hensley and wife Paula and Sandra Johnson all of London, Kentucky; the sister of Rita Faye Hammons, Minnie Hampton, and Lillie Mae Garland all of London, Kentucky; the step-mother of Rick Shepherd and wife Angela, Rocky Shepherd, and Charlene Hinkle all of London, Kentucky. She was also blessed with ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oakley "Billy Shep" Dees; by her grandson, Ernest Garland; by her parents, Fieldon and Stella (Baker) Hensley; by her siblings, Bill Hensley, Eudell Hammons, Mary Ruth Philpot, and Hannah Bowling.Funeral services for Sarah Helen Dees will be conducted Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Wayne House and Michael Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family of Sarah Helen Dees will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.Servings as pallbearers will be: John Philpot, Ronnie Philpot, Donnie Philpot, Brian Hammons, John Wayne Hammons, Rick Shepherd, Dustin Shepherd, and Jr. Hampton.
