Shelby Mathews

Shelby Mathews, age 72, Companion of Louise Wagoner of London, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. He was the father of Ray Mathews of East Bernstadt, Kentucky; the brother of Willard Mathews and Paul Bruce Mathews both of London, Kentucky, Clara Leslie of Martinsburg, West Virginia, and Frances Pullium of Frankfort, Kentucky. He was also blessed with one grandchild and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda (Burdine) Mathews; by his parents, Oscar and Mary (Brown) Mathews; and by his siblings. Carolyn Clark, William "Bill" Mathews, and Harold Mathews. He was a member of Poynters Chapel Christian Church, and a Veteran of the United States Army. Private graveside services for Shelby Mathews will be conducted with Ronnie Hale officiating. London Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.Read Obituary
