She was the mother of Ralph Danny Spurlock of London, Kentucky, and Everett Spurlock, Jr. and wife Aline of Maryville, Tennessee; the sister of Owen Johnson and Randall Johnson both of Hyden, Kentucky, John S. Johnson of West Liberty, Kentucky, Vada Hornsby of Hazard, Kentucky, and Anita Smallwood of London, Kentucky. She was also blessed with two grandchildren, Brandon Wayne Spurlock and Allison Anne Spurlock, four honorary grandchildren, Allen Lewis, Dustin Johnson, Owen Lewis, and Easton Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Spurlock, Sr.; by her parents, Emery and Eva (Sizemore) Johnson; by her siblings, baby Ruth Johnson and Ray Johnson; and by her step-father, Raymond Smith. Funeral services for Shirley Ann Spurlock will be conducted Friday, February 12, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Donnie Oliver officiating. Burial will follow at McHargue Cemetery. The family of Shirley Ann Spurlock will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until time of service on Friday.
