Shonda Gayle Brown

Shonda Gayle Brown, 50, of London, KY died on July 18, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, TX. A memorial service will be held at London Funeral Home on August 5th. The Gathering of Remembrance will begin at 5pm with the service beginning at 7pm. Shonda was born September 7, 1966 in London, to Judy Bowman Brown and the late David Ray Brown. She was a 1984 graduate of Laurel County High School and a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. She was a member of East London United Baptist Church. She enjoyed taking care of her Godchildren, Kimberly and Jonathan, creating costumes, traveling, and spending time with friends and family as often as she could. Shonda is survived by her mother, Judy, her sister, Cheryl Brown Mowry of Seabrook, TX, Cheryl’s husband, Chuck, and their 4 children, Nicholas, Bryant, Noah, and Catherine, and their families, as well as her closest friend, Leslie Roberts.
