Sibyl S. Roberts

Sibyl S. Roberts, age 96, of Barbourville, Kentucky formerly of the Bush Community passed away Monday, September 9, 2019 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. She was the mother of Jewel House of London, Kentucky and Terry Roberts of Barbourville, Kentucky. She was also survived by 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bleve Roberts; by her children, Ray D. Roberts, Betty Lou Miller, Wendell Roberts, and Jerry Roberts; by her parents, Charlie Sweet and Elizabeth (Burkhart) Sweet; by her siblings, Viney Blevins, Janie Hunt, Norma Wood, Willie Sweet, Robert Sweet, Orville Sweet, Jessie D. Sweet, and Charlie Sweet Jr. Funeral services for Sibyl S. Roberts will be conducted Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 2:00 PM in London Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Johnson and Lonnie Collett officiating. Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery in Bush, Kentucky. The family of Sibyl S. Roberts will receive friends at London Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 after 6:00 PM. Pallbearers will be Steven Roberts, James Roberts, Doug Roberts, Andrew Roberts, Lucas Roberts, Jared Smith, and Jase Smith.Read Obituary
