Stanley Asher, age 74 of London, Kentucky formerly of Bell County, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Saint Joseph Hospital, in London, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Alex and Alice (Brummett ) Asher. Stanley was a believer in the Holiness Faith. Stanley had been a truck driver for Asher Trucking and Evans Coal. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Cecil Asher, Rufus Asher, Harvey Asher, Earl Asher, Paul Asher, Douglas Asher, Wilkerson Asher, Foister Asher, Haley Asher, and Hozal Asher. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law Baxter Hubbard, Brother-in-law's Bill Taylor, LeRoy Guerra, Mark Hubbard, and Sister-in-law Tina Hubbard. Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife of 33 years Sheila (Hubbard) Asher, whom he loved dearly, his blue-eyed baby girl Megan LaRose Asher, who is a spitting image of her daddy, both of London Kentucky, son Alan and Shannon Hubbard, and Granddaughter Abigail Hubbard all of London Kentucky. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren in Michigan, and brothers Mitchell Asher, Roscoe and Arlene Asher, David and Donna Asher, sisters Edna Guerra of Louisiana, Hazel Taylor, Rosie and Tom Davison and a host of nieces and nephews, plus a host of other relatives and many friends. A true icon of a man. The best daddy and husband anyone could ever pray to be blessed with. Nothing he couldn’t fix. Every second he will be missed. Stanley was one loved man, who loved even harder back, and a strong man at that. Oh so loved he is, and will be missed by many. Fly high blue eyes. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, June 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at London Funeral Home chapel with Rev. John Neal and Rev. Jerry Shepard officiating. Music will be by Becky Shepard and Shawn Asher. The family of Stanley Asher will receive friends on Friday, June 17, 2022 and Saturday June 18, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at London Funeral Home.Serving as pallbearers will be: Alan Hubbard, Wayne Hubbard, Paul Hensley, George Philpot, Robert Philpot, Ricky Alt, and Jay Lopez .Burial is private to imitate family .
