Teddie Joe Marcum

Teddie Joe Marcum, age 79, husband of Geraldine (Boggs) Marcum of Springville, Alabama and formerly of Laurel County passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at St. Vincent East Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He was the father of Joseph Steven Marcum of North Ridgeville, Ohio and Joiedene Whisenant of Springville, Alabama. He was also blessed with two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Virgil Marcum and Stanphie (Bruner) Marcum, and by his brothers, Dexter Marcum, Robert Marcum, Paul Marcum, and Glen Marcum. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and a Kentucky Colonel. Graveside Services and burial for Teddie Joe Marcum will be conducted Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Hibbitts Cemetery with C.L. Bruner officiating. There will be no visitation.
