Thelma Irene Jones, age 94, of Richmond, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Dominion Senior Living in Richmond, Kentucky. She was the sister of Ruth Baker of Richmond, Kentucky, and Aileen Cox of Michigan. She is also survived by her nieces, Pam Morgan of Michigan, Barbara Hall of Richmond, Kentucky, and Debby Borders of Ohio; by her nephews, Paul David Finley of London, Kentucky, Greg Finley of Versailles, Kentucky, Randy Cornett and John Cornett both of Ohio; and by a host of great and great great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cordis Lee Jones; by her parents, Alex and Matilda (Tyree) Combs; and by her siblings, Elizabeth Finley, Verna Cornett, and Alex D. Combs, Jr.. Private funeral services for Thelma Irene Jones will be conducted Saturday, December 12, 2020 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Rob Hale officiating. Private burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Matthew Finley, Joshua Finley, Alex Hall, Josh Winkler, Greg Finley, and Robert Hall.Due to the new mandate by the Governor, All Visitations, Funeral/Memorial Services and Graveside/Committal Services are limited to 25 individuals total, regardless of where the services are held. My name is Jeanette Isaacs I am a cna at dominion senior living and I took care of thelma for 20 month's. I will miss Thelma very much. I loved her like a grandmother. Even though she is gone I will never forget her. I love you Thelma. I love you to Ruth. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
