Verdie Hacker Greer

Verdie (Hacker) Greer, age 98 of London, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. She was the mother of; Connie Patton and husband Elbert, Bill Greer and wife Myrtle, Peggy Pennington, and Paul Greer and wife Joann all of London, Kentucky, and Sandy Pritchett and husband Brian of Corydon, Kentucky, the sister of Clarence Hacker and wife Elizabeth of London, Kentucky, and Nick Hacker of Fogertown, Kentucky. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Greer, by one son, Gerald Greer, by one son-in-law, James Pennington, by her parents, Estill Hacker and Maude (Hudson) Hacker, and by her siblings; Ruth Burchell, Hartigan Hacker, Herbert Hacker, and Malla Hacker. Funeral Services for Verdie (Hacker) Greer will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, September 18, 2017 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Harold Gilbert and Dr. Terrell Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at Swiss Colony Cemetery. The family of Verdie (Hacker) Greer will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 1:00 PM Monday, September 18, 2017 until the funeral hour. Serving as Pallbearers will be Grandkids, Honorary Pallbearers, Great Grandkids.In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to: Gideons International, P.O.
