Villis G. (Goforth) Garland

Villis G. (Goforth) Garland, age 92, of London, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Corbin, Kentucky. She was the mother of Jerry Robert Asher and Douglas E. Asher both of Harlan, Kentucky, and the sister of Elsa Brown of Stockbridge, Georgia. She was also blessed with three grandchildren, Richard Asher and wife Lesa of Burlington, North Carolina, Julie (Asher) Baummer and husband Dave of Pofftown, North Carolina, and Doug Asher, Jr. of Harlan, Kentucky; and five great-grandchildren, William and Samuel Baummer, Nathan and Jacob Asher, and Madison Asher. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Asher; by her second husband, Bascom Garland; by her parents, George O. and Dora (Crider) Goforth; and by her siblings, Clyde Goforth, Sarah R. Kirk, and George O. Goforth, Jr. Graveside services and burial for Villis G. (Goforth) Garland will be conducted Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Rest Haven Cemetery. The family of Villis G.
