Viola Benge Brewer

Viola Benge Brewer, age 86, wife of Randell Lee Brewer of London, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at her residence. She was the mother of Susan B. Owens and husband Stan, and Myra Jane Brewer all of London, Kentucky; the grandmother of Hazelee Owens Vice and husband Ben, Hannah Owens Brown and husband Luke, Alexandra Elizabeth James, and Randell B. Brewer all of London, Kentucky; the great grandmother of Caroline Camille Vice, Owen Thomas Vice, and Millie James Brown; the sister of Ann Berry, Charlie Benge, and Harold Benge all of London, Kentucky. The family would like to acknowledge her wonderful caregiver, Lisa Hale Smith of London, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sherman and Leona (Walden) Benge; by her siblings, Lorene Williams, Virginia Chesnut, Loren Benge, Thelma Pearl Bruner, and Billy Sherman Benge. Funeral services for Viola Benge Brewer will be conducted Sunday, August 2, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 804 West 5th Street, London, Kentucky with Dr. Gregg Curtis and Rev. Ryan Coffey officiating. Entombment will follow at Benge Cemetery. The family of Viola Benge Brewer will receive friends at First Baptist Church from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020. The family respectfully requests that all visitors wear a mask and adhere to social distancing. Serving as pallbearers will be: Harold Benge, Randell B.
