He was the father of Jennifer Lynn Meadors and husband Johnathon of Corbin, Kentucky and James Shannon Cheek and wife Barbara of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. He was also blessed with four grandchildren, Hayden McKeehan, Raylan Cheek, Leann Lederman, and Caleb Whittemore, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angie (Ornduff) Campbell; by his son, Robert Wendell Campbell; by his parents, Elmer Campbell, Jr. and Ethel (Moore) Campbell.Funeral services for Wendell Elmer Campbell will be conducted Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Robinson, John Tuttle, Travis Robinson, and Denny McCowan officiating. Burial will follow at Carter Cemetery. The family of Wendell Elmer Campbell will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 with Masonic Services at 7:00 p.m. by C.D. Ward Lodge #961 F & AM.Serving as pallbearers will be: Todd Combs, Bobbie Combs, Hayden McKeehan, Caleb Whittemore, Billy Hinkle, and Austin Mounce. Honorary pallbearers will be Raylan Cheek, Russell Combs, Willie Puckett, Vince Eversole, Will Owens, Donald Craft, Vince Mullins, and Mike McKnight.
